Chapter 2

But there was something else to the chemicals that intrigued Zaspean; a tall slender figure, which seemed to be so robust as not to move a muscle. He was diligently watching something through his microscope, and for not once had he turned to pay attention to the visitor standing infront of him. He appeared to be some botanist; judging from the array of plants in the background. But then there were other chemicals as well next to him. Chemist? Moving to his right, there were the remains of a human body. Forensic doctor? As Zaspean inclined himself in the deduction of this man's profession, although in this state of ambivalence it was highly probable that he wouldnt be able to deduce it, the man remarked something. Zaspean, lost in the forest of his thoughts, turned to the man. This time, he was louder, and he repeated his statement;
Ahmad Cyroni turning to Zaspean

"Why endorse yourself in the profession of a caretaker when you have such great athletic talent?" said the man ( it sound weird saying 'man' again and again) from behind the microscope

Zaspean, was startled. How on earth did that man know this? Was he some sort of spy?

"I don't know. But how did you see my application. Wasn't it supposed to be kept confidentially by Mr. Graham? (Graham was the head of the hospital and was the one who had escorted him to this room). Do you know that is a violation of the Data Rights Law.", hissed Zaspean.

"Why, who on earth told you that I had seen your application, for even if I had time, why would I engage myself in such frivilous acts of indecency", he chuckled.

"But how did you know that I had athletic talent. My clothes are baggy that actually contradict my showcase of athletism", said a surprised Zaspean.

"Alright, forget that. I see you have just arrived in this town, and are currently looking for a location. And don't worry, distance won't be a dilemma - it will be at a considerably short distance from both your univeristy and this hospital. As for my personality, my name is Ahmad Sayroni, and i guess in your abject state of confusion, it wouls be better to take one step at a time., starting with my name. As for my conveniece, i too am seeking an affordable accomodation."

"But, how..?!" -

"Alright, if you insist as such. When you busy deciphering your surroundings, i managed to get a peak of you. You walk is on of a very controlled one. Yes men in the military too walk in such a sense of air, but their pace is slower, and the movements of their legs are coordinated. You happen to walk haphazardly, with uneven steps, but your strong legs help you to maintain balance and look around things even while standing in one stationery position. Moreover, there are faint marks on your neck behind your collar, which indicate that you have been wearing something heavy. A ganster chain? Possible, but judging from your personality, you dont seem one. It could have been attempted suicide, but no, you dont seem to be a depressant. Connecting the notion of your legs to this point, it can be inferred that you have won several medals, which indicates your athletic capability. I can also see specks of dirt on your trousers, which indicates that you were yesterday in Yorshire Garden, where it had rained just yerterday. The specks continue up to your thighs, which indicate your running at a high speed. Running., while it is raining? That too reflects upon your urge to succeed, and the fact that only those who work hard succeed, informs us once again about your athletic capability. As for Yorshire Garden, you must have chosen the closest one to your home (ie. Univeristy), as you are new in town and dont want to get lost. How did i know that you were new to this town? Well, the fingers of your right hand seem a little pink, indicating a recent electric shock. You previously used a 2 pin switch, but here in Katalyst, there are 3 pin switches. You obviously must have had some problem fitting in your charger or other appliances. Oh, i am running out of breath. I guess you have understood by now, so just meet me here again at the same time tomorrow. And do bring a reasonal answer to the question which I asked you.".

And then he left, leaving behind Zaspean agape, who just couldnt believe what did Ahmad just say
An amazed Zaspean

Chapter 1

“I hope this place is reassuring”, Zaspean remarked to himself as he entered the hospital.
He had been appointed as the caretaker of this hospital, but his job for such a title could best be considered as ‘outrageous’. Yes outrageous it was, just like the shoes he was wearing. Patched-up antiquated converse they were, with his name etched on the inside of his shoe. The sole was worn off by the years of intense walking, and miniature cracks started to evolve once again on the sides of his shoes.
Despite his athletic capability, he still dearly loved his converse
Zaspean had grown up in a family where he was the lone child. Living the initial years of his life in bliss amongst his parents; food, money, toys, he had everything and anything he could think of. However, he could never imagine what the forthcoming years would present to him. At the age of 10, his parents were involved in an accident, an accident that sealed their fate, and left Zaspean all alone. He was taken in the custody of his caring grandmother, but she too couldn’t persist long enough in her life to help Zaspean through the years of his major physical and mental development. If you guessed puberty, you are correct. But if you did not, then I guess you haven’t hit it yet.
Little Zaspean just couldn't do anything. In fact no body could do anything, except for helping this boy
He spent the next few years selling handfuls of toffees on the streets, and it wasn’t soon when he was admitted in to an orphanage. Exclusive care was taken of Zaspean as the shock of several losses and house to house migration accompanied by strange aberrant places. Not only was he was given access to all the luxuries of life, but he was also allowed to go to school, perhaps in an attempt to release him off the tragic memories embedded in his head.
It was during this specific period that he developed a great zest for sports. Zaspean possessed the heart of an Olympian; he knew that defeat was not sufficient to make him give up. He would occasionally devote hours after his school, running around the school track, to many like a maniac, but to others like a horse; full of energy and strength, driven by the sheer force of success, and his only competition – the wind. Consequently he developed the attire of a strong athlete, and just by looking at the state of his legs, one could easily deduce that he was none other than a Cross Country runner. His thirst for knowledge too exceeded others. Always adamant to engulf more information, Zaspean showed an extraordinary interest in Biology and Chemistry, particularly on how does the human body function, and what makes it do so. After years of hard work, he was now, at the age of 19, in a university at Pennsylvania, undergoing a degree in Biochemistry
Whatever Zaspean did, there was always some type of motivation that drove him to his goal
